Syndeia 3.1 can be used in local mode or database mode, as described below. In contrast, all previous versions of Syndeia, including Syndeia 3.0 only support the local mode.

plugin can be used in two modes - cloud mode or local mode, as described below. We recommend users to use the cloud mode. The local mode is primarily meant for new users to evaluate Syndeia.
Cloud Mode
In this mode, the Syndeia plugin is backed by Syndeia Cloud. All Syndeia project information is stored and version managed on Syndeia Cloud. Follow the steps in the section below to configure Syndeia plugin in cloud mode.
Local Mode
In this mode, Syndeia information is stored locally, either in the SysML model or in the .syndeia folder of the user's home folder (e.g. C:\Users\<YourAccount>\.syndeia on Windows or /Users/<YourAccount>/.syndeia on Mac)
