Syndeia plugin can be used in two modes - cloud cloud mode or local mode, as described below. We recommend users to use the Cloud cloud mode. The Local local mode is primarily meant for new users to evaluate Syndeia.

In this mode, Syndeia information is stored locally, either in the SysML model or in the .syndeia folder of the user's home folder (e.g. C:\Users\<YourAccount>\.syndeia on Windows or /Users/<YourAccount>/.syndeia on Mac). Project-specific information, such as connections between SysML artifacts and non-SysML artifacts, are is stored in the SysML model. Repository information, shared across projects, is stored in the .syndeia folder.
