Follow the steps below to get started with Syndeia Cloud Web Dashboard.

(1) After Syndeia Cloud is installed, you can access the Syndeia Web Dashboard from a web browser using the Syndeia Cloud URL provided by your Syndeia administrator, e.g. https://syndeia.myOrg.com:9000.

(2) Sign in with your Syndeia Cloud username and password. If your Syndeia Cloud installation is configured to use your organization’s LDAP server, select LDAP and sign in using your LDAP username and password.

(3) After successful sign-in, you should see the Syndeia Web Dashboard landing page with Digital Thread analytics. The analytics charts show the number of repositories, containers (projects), artifacts, and relationships from various sources that are participating in your digital thread. The first chart shows the totals organized by repository types, e.g. Aras, JIRA, Teamwork Cloud, and others. The second chart shows the totals organized by the type of data, e.g. number of repositories, containers, artifacts, relations, and their types.

(4) The LHS of the Syndeia Web Dashboard shows the main menu.

  • Home - Click not the Syndeia icon to reach the Syndeia Web Dashboard home/landing page with the Digital Thread analytics

  • Graph Queries - Click on the Graph icon to create and execute Graph queries using Gremlin on the digital thread. See the section Graph Queries on Web Dasboard for details.

  • Repositories - Click the Repositories icon to connect, browse, and search repositories/tools. See the section Repositories on the Web Dashboard for details.

  • Relations - Click the Relations icon to create inter-model relations between artifacts in various repositories. See the section Creating Relations on the Web Dashboard for details.

  • Help - Click on the Help icon to access the following sub-menus.

    • API - Overview - Provides an overview of the domain models of Syndeia Cloud and the integrated repositories/tools. This is a prerequisite to learning and using the Syndeia Cloud REST/HTTP API.

    • API - Swagger doc - Provides access to the OpenAPI specification (Swagger doc) of the Syndeia Cloud REST/HTTP API

    • Demo - Provides access to the Syndeia 3.4 demonstration videos. Additional demonstrations are available with the tutorials on this site

  • User Profile -

  • User Profile - Click on this menu to Log out of Syndeia Cloud or access your profile. The profile shows you user permissions and allows you to change your password.
