Removing a Repository

To remove a repository from the Repository Manager, right-click on the repository in the Repository List panel (LHS) and select Remove. After the Syndeia Dashboard is closed, the removed repositories will not be saved, and when the Dashboard is launched next time, the removed repositories will not show up in the list of repositories. Users should exercise caution in removing repositories.

Once a repository is removed, Syndeia will not be able to resolve and execute (compare/sync) connections to elements in that repository. The unique name of the repository is used in the connections between SysML elements and the repository elements. If users accidentally remove a repository, they can restore it by adding it back, and giving it the same name as the removed repository, especially to resolve any Syndeia connections to elements in that repository. To check if there are any Syndeia connections to elements in a given repository, users can use the filtering capabilities of the Connection Browser and Connection Summary, as described in the following sections.
