  1. Unzip the floating license server directory provided to you at any location on your computer, e.g. %ProgramFiles%\Intercax_License_Server_Win64.
  2. Copy the floating license file you obtained from Intercax to this directory.
  3. Open a command prompt and follow the steps below to start the license server.

  4. Go It is recommended to install the license server as a Windows Service to auto-start upon boot. To do this, go to http://localhost<your_server_name>:5054/home.asp and check if the license server web client is up. Click click on the Status Manage Windows Service menu button on the LHS pane (red arrow) and check if the Status page comes up as shown below. Then click on the intercax button under the Server Status column (blue arrow).

    The detailed status page should come up, as shown below, indicating the number of floating licenses you have and the number of the floating licenses in use.

    It is recommended to run the license server as a Windows Service. Follow the directions from the 'Manage Windows Service' menu button. Specify the 'Webserver port #' left hand pane and follow the instructions provided.

    (info) Note, to specify an alternate webserver port, fill in the Webserver port field if a port other than 5054 is desired.
