A Node-Locked license is one which is tied to a specific host and does not require a license server. Evaluation licenses are generally Node-Locked and typically include all features and are for 30-days (longer durations are available but need approval).  Permanent (paid) licenses include the features you purchased and are permanent (perpetual).  The overall process requires consists of three steps:

  1. Obtain Node-Locked License(s):  Provide Intercax with details of for your license deployment request (ie: features (if non-eval), MAC address, , server name, ports, etc.) to obtain license file(s) for client machines.
  2. Client Setup:  Install Syndeia client on your host machine.
  3. Client License File Installation:  Install provided license in your .syndeia folder in your user/home directory

Node-Locked License Requirements

A single Node-Locked license file will be issued for each product (e.g. Syndeia). This license file will be located on the license serverclient machine. The following information is required from you (end user organization) for us to generate a floating node-locked license file (* = required).

  1. Helpdesk Account*:  If you are a new customer, have your Technical Point of Contact (PoC) for the license request create a new account here.  If you already have an account, login.

Once an account is created, create a Helpdesk License Request ticket with the below information in the relevant fields and we will process the request accordingly.
