E1 - Problem syncing to Excel rows

Problem

When attempting to right-click an Excel row data map connection connection in the Syndeia dashboard (connection browser or connection manager) and sync SysML → Target, sync fails and errors similar to the following messages are shown in the log area of the Syndeia dashboard:

[09:05:19] ERROR The workbook selected for modification is not editable. It may be opened or locked by another process.
[09:05:19] ERROR Connection "Default::package-1::ItemsinStorage_row_3 - ItemsinStorage_row_3" (id = caf3aefd-d4a4-46bb-930e-7a4fc25e8ae7) not synchronized from SysML to target.

Solution
Excel workbooks cannot be synced to while they are open or locked. Check that the destination workbook for sync is not open or otherwise locked for read-only access in the file system and close it or unlock it.
