Requirements
Syndeia 3.1 has been tested to work with the following software versions. Unless otherwise specified, it may work with other versions but has not been tested with those yet.
Operating System
Syndeia 3.1 has been tested to work on the following operating systems. This is mostly dependent on the operating systems and bit-ness (32/64 bit) supported by the SysML modeling tools, such as MagicDraw.
- Windows 10 – 64 bit
- Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) – 64 bit
- Ubuntu Linux 16.04 LTS
Java
Syndeia requires Java 8, specifically Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8.

SysML Modeling Tools
Syndeia 3.1 requires MagicDraw and SysML plugin 18.0 sp6 (or higher). Though it will work with all versions of MagicDraw (or Cameo Systems Modeler) above 18.0 sp6, it has been primarily tested to work with MagicDraw and SysML plugin 18.0 sp6 (LTR) and 18.5 sp1 FR.
Creo
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with Creo 2.0 and Creo 3.0. Syndeia’s current integration with Creo has been tested on Windows 10; and requires Creo to be locally installed on the user’s machine.
DOORS-NG
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with DOORS-NG 6.0 and 6.0.2. It has also been tested at the basic level with 6.0.3.
Excel
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with Microsoft Excel 2016. Syndeia’s current integration with Excel has been tested on Windows 10 and Mac OS X; and requires Excel to be locally installed on the user’s machine.
Github
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with GitHub using REST API version 3.
JIRA
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with JIRA version 1000.98.4 using REST API version 2.
MySQL
Syndeia 3.1 has been tested to work with MySQL 5.5.49.
NX
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with NX 10. Syndeia’s current integration with NX has been tested on Windows 10; and requires NX to be locally installed on the user’s machine.
Simulink and Stateflow
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow R2016b. It will work with MATLAB / Simulink 2012a and above. Syndeia’s current integration with Simulink / Stateflow has been tested on Windows 10 and Mac OS X; and requires MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow to be locally installed on the user’s machine.
Teamcenter
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with Teamcenter 9.1 and Teamcenter 11.2.
Windchill
Syndeia 3.1 has been primarily tested to work with Windchill 10.2.
