R2 - Right-click menu isn’t working

Problem (Rhapsody)
a. When right-clicking an element in the SysML model tree as shown below, Syndeia menu item shown highlighted at bottom left is missing.
b. When right-clicking an element in the SysML model tree as shown below, Syndeia menu items shown at below right (Dashboard, Open Connected Artifact, etc.) are not responding when clicked.

Solution

a. If Syndeia menu is missing entirely, try one or more of the following:

Check that the installation folder looks correct according to step 7 of the installation instructions in the User Guide.
Check that Java is set up correctly according to the User Guide Java setup instructions.
Check for license validation messages in troubleshooting item R3 - License validation fails.

b. If Syndeia menu items are shown but not responding when clicked, check for messages in the Rhapsody log window as shown below. If you do not see the log window, press Alt+3.

If you see a message that license validation failed, make sure a valid license is placed in correct location according to step 8 of the installation instructions in the User Guide.
If the messages state that a license is not checked out, check out a license.
