Artifactory Repositories
In this section, the Syndeia Web Dashboard capabilities for Artifactory repositories are presented.

Add an Artifactory Repository
(1) Click the Repositories icon in the LHS menu pane.
(2) Select Artifactory in the list of Repository types on the LHS and click on the + icon to add a new Artifactory repository, as shown below.
(3) Fill out the details for your Artifactory server (repository), as shown below, and click the Create button.
URL - Base URL of your Artifactory server
Name - Name of the Artifactory server. Provide a unique name to distinguish this Artifactory server from others you may add.
Description - Description of the Artifactory server
Authentication type - Basic (default)
Username - Username to sign in to your Artifactory server. Enter the same username that you use on the Artifactory web client.
Password - Password to sign in to your Artifactory server. Enter the same password that you use on the Artifactory web client.
Browse an Artifactory Repository
(1) Expand the Artifactory repository after it has been added.
(2) If your repository details are correct, Syndeia Cloud will try to sign in to your Artifactory repository and display two categories - Builds and Repositories, as shown below.
(3) Expands the Builds category to view all Builds. Expand a Build to view Build Runs. As shown in the view above, there is only one Build (myBuild) with only one Build Run (myBuild_1) in this Artifactory repository.
(4) Expand the Repositories category to view all Repositories. Expand a Repository to views Folders and Artifacts (files). As shown in the view above, the Automotive Engineering Repository has the following five Folders - Analysis, Architecture, Design, Project_Management, and Requirements. The Architecture Folder has the following six Files - AltPLM_1.0.pdf, FEA_4.5.pdf, PLM_10.0.pdf, SysML_1.0.pdf, SysML_2.0.pdf, and UAF_1.0.pdf.
Search an Artifactory Repository
Users can search for Folders, Artifacts, and BuildRuns in an Artifactory repository. Click on the Search icon on the RHS to see the Search tab.
(1) Search Folders
Pick Folder in the Search for dropdown menu, as shown below.
Provide the Repository Path of the Folder you are searching for.
Click the Search button. The result will be shown on the RHS.
The Repository Path of any Folder or Artifact is available in the Artifactory web client on the RHS, as shown below.
(2) Search Artifacts (files)
Pick Artifact in the Search for dropdown menu, as shown below.
Provide the Repository Path of the Artifact you are searching for.
Click the Search button. The result will be shown on the RHS.
(3) Search Build Runs
Pick BuildRun in the Search for dropdown menu, as shown below.
Select the specific Build whose Build Runs you are searching for in the Select a container dropdown menu.
Specify any text string contained in the Build Run (a.k.a. Build Number) in the Build number contains field.
Click the Search button. Results will be shown on the RHS.
Digital Thread Explorer

The Digital Thread Explorer will display the Folder-Artifact hierarchy in an Artifactory repository using the Contains relationship (intra-model).
