The Home tab on the Digital Thread Project Dashboard shows the home page for the given Digital Thread Project, as shown in Figure 1 below. The home page shows the following information.

  • Digital Thread Project Analytics

  • Relations Timelines

Digital Thread Project Analytics

The Digital Thread Project Analytics section shows the following information.

  • Repositories - Total number and distribution of repositories by type whose artifacts are participating in the given Digital Thread Project.

  • Containers - Total number and distribution of containers by repository type whose artifacts are participating in the given Digital Thread Project.

  • Artifacts - Total number and distribution of artifacts by repository type which are sources / targets of inter-model (digital thread) relations in the given Digital Thread Project.

  • Relations - Total number of inter-model (digital thread) relations in the given Digital Thread Project. This number is shown above the two timeline plots.

Refer to https://intercax.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SYN36/pages/3395125697 to learn about the core Syndeia concepts, such as Digital Thread Project, Repository, Container, Artifact, and Relation, that are used in these analytics. Point to any colored sector in the pie charts to view details for that sector.

As an example, Figure 1 shows analytics for the Unmanned Ground Vehicle 02 Digital Thread Project. There are a total of 142 inter-model (digital thread) relations in this project currently. There are 224 artifacts that are the sources / targets of the 142 relations. The 224 artifacts are originating from different types of repositories, such as 75 Teamwork Cloud artifacts, 14 Teamcenter artifacts, 31 Jira artifacts, 16 GitHub artifacts, and others. The 224 artifacts are owned by 8 containers. The 8 containers are owned by 8 repositories. The 8 repositories are of 8 different repository types, such as Teamcenter, Jira, Jama, GitHub, Teamwork Cloud, and others.

Relations Timelines

The Relations Timelines section shows the following information.

  • Relations Timeline (Incremental) - Timeline plot showing the number of relations created by day / month / year.

  • Relations Timeline (Cumulative) - Timeline plot showing the total number of relations in the given Digital Thread Project by day / month / year.

Select Date / Month / Year in the View by drop down on the top RHS of this section.

Search and Switch Digital Thread Project

Users can also switch to another Digital Thread Project that is accessible to them. Click on the Search and Switch button image-20240427-210725.png next to the project name, as shown in Figure 2 below. Search a project by name or key, and select from the drop-down to switch the project.
