Improvements
1. Support for TestRail 7.2.1 and above with bulk API changes
The TestRail 7.2.1 release updated the bulk GET API endpoints for fetching test cases, test runs, test results, and other TestRail artifacts. You can read more here: https://discuss.gurock.com/t/bulk-api-endpoint-changes-coming-soon/19537.
Syndeia 3.4 SP3 includes updates that support this change. Users will be able to browse, search, and transform TestRail artifacts originating from TestRail 7.2.1 and above, as before. This update is available in Syndeia Cloud - Web Dashboard and REST API, and Syndeia clients - MagicDraw/Cameo plugin, Rhapsody plugin, and Standalone client.
Issues resolved: IHD-2379 (SYN-2474)
2. Support for opening Teamcenter items in Active Workspace
When browsing a Teamcenter repository in Syndeia clients, users can open any Teamcenter item in the Teamcenter web client. Syndeia 3.4 SP3 adds the capability to open Teamcenter items in Active Workspace clients. Users can select between Web Client and Active Workspace in Syndeia settings as their preferred Teamcenter client for opening items.
Issues resolved: IHD-2056 (SYN-2342)
3. Fixes to view all global spaces in Confluence
Syndeia 3.4 SP3 fixes a bug that was preventing users from viewing all global spaces on Confluence servers.
Issues resolved: IHD-2340 (SYN-2699)
4. Enhancements to OAuth sign-in for Jira
Syndeia 3.4 SP3 includes an enhancement for OAuth sign-in for Jira. When adding Syndeia as a client app in Jira for OAuth access, admins can provide a custom Consumer Key (e.g. Syndeia_OAuth_Key
) instead of the default consumer key (OauthKey
). Syndeia client users can then use this custom Consumer key to connect to Jira. Refer to the Jira OAuth sign-in documentation page for details: Adding Jira repository using OAuth
Issues resolved: IHD-2293 (SYN-2651)
5. Other improvements
In addition to the improvements listed above, Syndeia 3.4 SP3 includes several minor improvements, bug fixes, documentation updates, and improved error handling in Syndeia Web Dashboard and local clients, as well as in the installation and configuration of Syndeia Cloud (server).
