Contents of a JIRA Repository

If you select a JIRA repository in the Repository Tree Panel (LHS), you can see the contents of that repository in the Repository Content Panel (RHS). This content information is lazily loaded—when you expand a node for the first time or refresh it, a request is made to the JIRA server for information, and the results are displayed. Users can view a wide range of information in JIRA, as also shown in figure below.

At the top level, you can see the JIRA repository that you connected to using your credentials. Under the JIRA repository, you can see: (1) all the projects that are accessible to you, and (2) all the issues related to you across all projects. If you expand a project, you can see all the issues related to you, organized by issues reported by you, assigned to you, and watched by you. The icons on the issues reflect the issue type, such as Bug, New Feature, and Improvement. If you expand an issue, you can see its details, such as issue type, summary, assignee, reporter, status, and other attributes, as shown above.
