Launching the Syndeia Dashboard

Follow the instructions in this section to launch the Syndeia Dashboard for MagicDraw/Cameo.

(1) Create a new SysML project in MagicDraw, if you don’t already have a SysML project open, using File > New Project, and then selecting SysML Project in the New Project dialog, as shown in Figure 1 below.

(2) Import Syndeia profile: Select File > Use Project > Use Local Project, select <install.root>\profiles, and then select the Syndeia_Profile.mdzip, as shown in Figure 2 below. Click the Finish button. If you are prompted to see all Auxiliary Resources in MagicDraw, select No.

(3) Right click on a package in the MagicDraw Containment Tree and select Syndeia > Dashboard, as shown in Figure 3 below.

(4) If Syndeia (client) is configured in Cloud mode, you will see the Select or Create Digital Thread Project dialog, as shown in Figure 4 below. Double click an existing Digital Thread Project, or create a new Digital Thread Project, as shown in Figure 4 below. To learn more about Digital Thread Projects, refer to the following.

(5) The Syndeia Dashboard will launch, as shown in Figure 5 below. Note that if you are a new Syndeia user, you will not see any repositories listed but only categories (e.g. Aras, Artifactory, and others) depending upon your license.
