Home Page - Web Dashboard
The Home Page of the Syndeia Web Dashboard is the first page you will see after signing in. It is also accessible from the Home menu in the main menu bar.
The Home Page shows the Global Dashboard for the given Syndeia Cloud deployment. The Global Dashboard includes the following two sections that are described below.
Digital Thread Analytics
Digital Thread Projects
Digital Thread Analytics
The Digital Thread Analytics section of the Global Dashboard shows the global analytics for the given Syndeia Cloud deployment, as shown in Figure 2 below.
The global analytics shown are as follows.
Digital Thread Projects - Total number of Digital Thread Projects in the given Syndeia Cloud deployment.
Relations - Total number of inter-model (digital thread) relations owned by all Digital Thread Projects in the given Syndeia Cloud deployment.
Repositories - Total number and distribution of repositories by type in the given Syndeia Cloud deployment.
Containers - Total number and distribution of containers by repository type in the given Syndeia Cloud deployment.
Artifacts - Total number and distribution of artifacts by repository type in the given Syndeia Cloud deployment.
Refer to Digital Thread Projects to learn about the core Syndeia concepts, such as Digital Thread Project, Repository, Container, Artifact, and Relation, that are used in these analytics. Point to any colored sector in the pie charts to view details for that sector, as shown for Jira repository in the Repositories pie chart in Figure 2 above.
As an example, Figure 2 shows global analytics for a specific Syndeia Cloud deployment. There are 367 Digital Thread Projects that own 38,219 inter-model (digital thread) relations in this Syndeia Cloud deployment. The 38,219 inter-model relations are using 57,079 artifacts as their sources or targets. These include artifacts originating from: DOORS-NG repositories (3,499 artifacts), Jama repositories (2,666 artifacts), Teamcenter repositories (2,023 artifacts), Windchill repositories (1,670 artifacts), Jira repositories (1,553 artifacts), SysML repositories (40,506 artifacts), and others. The 57,079 artifacts are owned by 2,225 containers originating from 177 repositories. These include: 3 Jira repositories, 24 RESTful repositories, 6 SysML repositories, and others.
In summary, Figure 2 shows Digital Thread Analytics for a Syndeia Cloud deployment that has 177 repositories that own the 2,225 containers which own 57,079 artifacts that are the sources/targets of 38,219 inter-model relations owned by 367 Digital Thread Projects.
Digital Thread Projects
The Digital Thread Projects section of the Global Dashboard shows the Digital Thread Projects accessible to the signed in user. Specifically, these are the projects where the signed in user has at least READ
privileges. Refer to Digital Thread Project Privileges to learn more.
The Digital Thread Projects section shows cards with name, description, and key for each project accessible to the signed in user. Cards for five (5) projects are shown by default. There are three main controls available, as illustrated in Figure 3 and described below.
