My Profile - Web Dashboard

The My Profile menu in the Main Menu Bar of the Syndeia Web Dashboard provides sub-menus to access your user profile and to sign out of the Syndeia Web Dashboard.

A summary of the sub-menus is presented below.

(1) My Profile - Select the My Profile sub-menu to view your user details, privileges, preferences, and change password. The My Profile page has four distinct sections, as shown in Figure 2 and presented below.

• Basic Details - This section shows your (signed in user) first name, last name, username, user key, and roles.

• Global Privileges - This section shows your global privileges for working with Syndeia Cloud (Web Dashboard and API) across all your digital thread projects.

• Digital Thread Project Privileges - This section shows the list of digital thread projects accessible to you and your privileges on each.

• Preferences and Password Change - This section allows you to set preferences for caching your credentials in the web browser and for changing your password.

• Digital Thread Project Privileges are added to show your privileges on each digital thread project accessible to you.

• Additional permission for GRAPH QUERY is added to Global Privileges.

• Refer to User Management - Web Dashboard to learn more about Global Privileges and Digital Thread Project Privileges.

(2) Preferences - If the option Cache encrypted credentials for external repositories in the browser is checked, then the Syndeia Web Dashboard will cache your encrypted credentials for signing in to external repositories, such as Jira, GitHub, Teamcenter, Windchill, and others, in the web browser. As a result, you will not need to provide your credentials each time when you connect to those external repositories / tools from the Syndeia Web Dashboard. This option is checked by default.

(3) Change Password - Click on the Change Password button to change your password. When clicked, the Change Password dialog opens, as shown in Figure 4 below. Provide you current password, new password, and then click on the Change Password button. You will need to sign in again after changing the password.

(4) Sign Out - Click on the Sign Out sub-menu to sign out of Syndeia Web Dashboard. You should see the Syndeia Cloud Landing Page with sign in options after your sign out.
